Filipino Homes, the largest real estate network in the Philippines, gathered 30 top developers in the country and more than 600 agents for a collaborative event aimed at creating new products that truly cater to customer needs.

The event, organized as a “celebration of success,” brought together the key stakeholders in the industry with the goal of addressing a longstanding challenge – the disconnect between what developers produce and what the market actually demands.

“The problem is that a lot of developers create products for themselves, not for the market,” said Anthony Gerard Leuterio, founder and CEO of Filipino Homes. “That’s why we brought together the developers and the top sellers, so they can work together to create products that customers actually want.”

The annual event underscores Filipino Homes’ commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation, while celebrating the hard work and success of the men and women behind the country’s thriving real estate industry.

A core focus of the event was equipping real estate agents with the knowledge and skills to become more sustainable and effective in their roles.

Leuterio emphasized the importance of agents having access to the best information to share with buyers, rather than simply focusing on closing sales.

“We need to create a sustainable agent network. So we train the agents to become sustainable by giving them the best information about the market and the projects,” he added.

“This way, they can provide valuable insights to buyers, not just push for a quick sale.”

The national convention also served as a platform for developers to gain valuable market data and insights gathered from the organizer’s extensive network of 100 offices across the country.

This data was shared with the developers to help them make more informed decisions when conceptualizing and designing new real estate products.

“Because of the scale that we’re having, we have 100 offices in every office we have different inputs. So these inputs, luckily for the developer, we give it for free,” Leuterio emphasized.

“This way, the developers can truly understand the pulse of the market and create offerings that resonate with buyers.”

The event also highlighted the significant opportunity to target overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) as potential buyers for these new real estate products.

By partnering with OFWs abroad, the developers can tap into a growing market of Filipinos looking to invest in property back home.

The two-day convention also witnessed the launch of Bayanihan.com, a global online portal dedicated to connecting Filipinos worldwide with cultural festivals and events.

The platform will serve as a comprehensive directory, offering event organizers a space to promote their festivals and celebrations on both local and international stages.

It aims to unite the Filipino diaspora by providing a platform where cultural events can be promoted, helping Filipinos around the world stay in touch with their heritage.

“Our goal is to bridge Filipinos across the globe by celebrating and promoting the vibrant Filipino culture,” said Leuterio. “Bayanihan.com ensures that every Filipino celebration, whether a small local fiesta or a grand international festival, receives the attention it deserves.”

Filipino Homes is the largest comprehensive real estate solutions portal with close to a hundred offices all over the country that provides one-stop shop services for real estate buyers and sellers.
