CEBU CITY, Philippines — Hawker Chan, the internationally acclaimed Singaporean street-food chain, has officially opened its 20th branch in the Philippines at SM Seaside Cebu, marking its first-ever location in the Visayas region.

Located on the Ground Level, Mountain Wing of SM Seaside City Cebu, this new branch brings the globally recognized flavors of Hawker Chan to the Queen City of the South. Responding to high demand from local consumers, the brand is thrilled to expand its presence in Cebu.

The new branch features Hawker Chan’s contemporary design concept, showcasing organic forms, bright tones, and hanging plants, creating a refreshing and inviting dining environment. The restaurant offers both dine-in and take-out options, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Franchisee Julius Neri Jr. revealed plans for further expansion in Cebu, with another branch set to open in Tops by October. “We are not stopping with one store. For sure, this will not be the last,” Neri said.

Hawker Chan has gained global recognition for its signature Soya Sauce Chicken, which was awarded a Michelin Star for its exceptional flavor and quality. The chicken is meticulously marinated for hours using the highest quality ingredients, earning the dish the title of the World’s Most Famous Soya Sauce Chicken.

The opening of this new branch in Cebu not only brings the iconic flavors of Hawker Chan closer to local diners but also reaffirms the brand’s commitment to providing affordable yet delicious meals to its customers.
