Perennial Holdings Private Limited officially unveiled the various eldercare, medical and hospital brands within Perennial International Health and Business City Tianjin, the company’s first healthcare centric High-Speed Railway Transit-Oriented Development integrating eldercare, medical and hospitality components.

The brands include Perennial-branded eldercare facilities, as well as Perennial-branded and Perennial co-branded medical facilities. Concurrently, Perennial Holdings officially launched its eldercare component, Perennial Eldercare Community, and its rehabilitation centre.

The ceremony was graced by various key government officials including Mr Desmond Lee, Singapore Minister for National Development and Minister-in-Charge of Social Services Integration and Co-Chair of the Singapore-Tianjin Economic and Trade Council, Mr Lee Chuan Teck, Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of Enterprise Singapore, and representatives from Tianjin and Xiqing District.

In addition, there were over 100 local and foreign guests comprising government officials, business partners, industry practitioners and the media at the event.

Spanning 3.5 million square feet (“sq ft”) and developed at a total investment cost of approximately S$1 billion, Perennial Tianjin is located in Xiqing District and adjacent to the Tianjin South HSR station, a key station positioned to serve the communities in the Jing-Jin-Ji megalopolis integrating Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei in North China.

Within the Perennial Eldercare Community, Perennial Holdings launched three Perennial-branded eldercare facilities with a total of over 1,800-beds to cater to seniors with different care needs. The facilities comprise Perennial Eldercare Home, a 286-bed home for healthy seniors, Perennial Assisted Living Apartment, a 1,227-bed facility for seniors with assisted daily living needs, and Perennial Nursing Hospital, a 299-bed facility for seniors who have high care needs.

Perennial Eldercare Community, which aims to provide integrated transitional care for seniors, also houses a rehabilitation centre with a comprehensive range of equipment, a hydrotherapy pool and a clubhouse. The hydrotherapy pool, with a moveable elevated platform, is one of the largest and most well-equipped in China.

Seniors can manage their chronic diseases holistically with the integration of western and traditional Chinese medicine, and benefit from a series of rehabilitation programmes. In addition, Perennial Holdings’ proprietary WeCare application allows seniors to actively monitor their health vital statistics, such as blood pressure, heart rates, oxygen level and glucose readings, and analyse of these readings to facilitate early detection of health conditions.
