Salesforce, the global leader in CRM, today announced the appointment of Rain Hu as Country Leader for Singapore and Taiwan, effective immediately.
An accomplished entrepreneurial leader in the technology industry, Rain is responsible for leading Salesforce’s team and business growth in Singapore and Taiwan.
She will also ensure that Salesforce delivers on the values of trust, customer success, innovation, equality and growth for employees, customers, partners and communities in both markets. Rain is based in Singapore.
Rain brings with her close to 20 years of experience in the enterprise software sector and proven results in transforming and scaling businesses in the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.
She joins Salesforce from Elastic, where she was most recently Area Vice President for ASEAN and Greater China. Under her leadership, the company grew from a five-person team to a dynamic regional team spanning across ten countries in five years.
Prior to Elastic, she held regional leadership positions in leading technology companies including SolarWinds and ServiceNow, where she built strong and diverse teams, and accelerated revenue growth. Rain is a strong advocate for diversity, equality and inclusion, and has successfully fostered a culture of learning and development for her teams in her previous roles.
