Philippine-listed real estate company Megaworld is set to open the Grand Westside Hotel in its 31-hectare Westside City township in Parañaque City by the end of the year. The 19-story, two-tower hotel, with 1,500 rooms, will be the largest hotel development in the Philippines.
The Grand Westside Hotel will provide an array of room types and sizes to accommodate all guests. The rooms range from Queen Suites to Twin Suites, including specially-designed suites for specially-abled guests.
Cleofe Albiso, Managing Director at Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, stated that the hotel’s strategic location, a short drive away from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport via the NAIA Expressway, offers spectacular views of the Manila Bay sunset and city skylines.
The hotel’s architecture embodies elegance and timelessness, inspired by the pattern of approaching shoreline waves, with a two-level retail and commercial space spanning 1,995 square meters.
The lobby, characterized by natural elements like wood, stone, metal, and leather, radiates sophistication, while the amenity floor on the fifth floor presents an expansive pool area, a children’s pool, gazebo, a sprawling Zen garden, and a seating area filled with greenery.
Four function rooms capable of hosting a range of events and a fitness gym with massage rooms are also present within the hotel. There will be four dining outlets, including the Grand Westside Café and the Executive Lounge, exclusively for VIP guests.
The Grand Westside Hotel represents Megaworld’s latest investment in Westside City, part of the Entertainment City in Parañaque, with around P64 billion committed to the project. The first tower of the hotel will open this year, with the second one slated for 2024.
Out of the 19 hotels launched by Megaworld, 12 are currently operational, with seven more in the pipeline, including the Grand Westside Hotel.
This new addition continues Megaworld’s legacy as a distinguished developer in the Philippine real estate industry, having won multiple prestigious awards, including the ‘Best Developer’ at the Philippines Property Awards by PropertyGuru for three consecutive years.
