ANTA PH officially launches its ANTA Ayala Cebu store, the 18th in the Philippines and so far, its largest boutique in the country.
Festivities began as the brand met with team officials of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu to formalize the brand’s sponsorship of the school’s basketball team.
Currently bannering high school standouts such as Jared Bahay, Raffy Celis and Mike Asoro, the Magis Eagles will be defending their championship next season in ANTA gear.
As the newest and only school outside of Metro Manila to be part of the ANTA Varsity Project, the SHS-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles will be outfitted in exclusive team gear similar to other TAVP schools such as Adamson University and University of Sto. Tomas in the UAAP and San Beda University and De La Salle-College of St. Benilde on the NCAA.
Prototypes of the SHS-Ateneo de Cebu’s game uniforms are on exhibit at the ANTA Ayala Cebu store beginning this weekend.
ANTA Ayala Cebu also debuted the much-awaited limited edition ‘12 Images of Water’ colorway of the KT8, the eighth installment in Klay Thompson’s signature sneaker franchise with ANTA.
Another special treat for the Cebuano crowd is the limited restock of the limited edition KT8 ‘Koi’. Both special KT8 colorways drop in extremely limited quantities.
To celebrate the official launch of the brand’s flagship store in the Queen City of the south, the San Beda Red Lions basketball squad visited ANTA Ayala Cebu while select Cebu social media influencers and friends from the media experienced the store. Live music was provided by CJ the DJ from Magic 89.9.
ANTA is the third largest sportswear group in the world. With brands under the conglomerate such as Salomon, Arc’teryx, Wilson, and Peak Performance among others, ANTA continues to make its mark on athletes around the globe.
International ambassadors of the brand include NBA Players Klay Thompson and Gordon Hayward and Olympic Skier Eileen Gu.
To date, ANTA currently has 18 stores locally with two more doors opening in March in Alabang Town Center and Gateway at Araneta Center Cubao. More stores are expected to launch this year.
