YouTrip, Singapore’s leading multi-currency neobank, announced that Tim Lee, an angel investor, former Partner at Sequoia Capital and tech industry veteran, will be joining YouTrip’s Board of Directors from 1 April.
In this new appointment, Tim will be partnering with YouTrip to oversee its strategic business growth and strengthen partner relations.

Tim brings close to two decades of experience building and investing in technology startups in Silicon Valley and South East Asia. He is an active angel investor in regional companies such as Ajaib, Intellect, Payfazz and Super.
During his five years at Sequoia Capital, Tim worked with companies such as Data.ai, Pocket Gems and WhatsApp. He also held roles at Google and McKinsey prior to his time at Sequoia. A successful entrepreneur, Tim founded the machine learning enabled sports media company, Avid AI and the podcast growth platform UP.audio.
