Listed gaming technology provider DFNN Inc. said its consolidated revenues for the first half of the year more than doubled to P124.8 million, an increase of 179.4 percent or P80.1 million from the same period last year, according to a Manila Times report.
In a financial report, the company said earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for the first half amounted to P9.6 million, reversing last year’s deficit of P21.5 million.
Cost and expenses for the period amounted to approximately P116.2 million, a P50.2 million increase from the same period last year.
The company said it plans to strengthen its business process outsourcing (BPO) services given the industry’s strong growth in the country.
“DFNN has now focused its efforts on business process outsourcing services, its gaming product offerings and its internet and wireless applications through its various proprietary systems. DFNN’s proprietary software and systems have been accepted for use in the legal gaming and gambling industry in which the technology needs are similar to the financial institutions that were initially targeted by the company,” it said in a statement.
The company also plans to increase its marketing efforts in line with the growing online gaming market in Asia.
“DFNN has increased its marketing efforts to provide more systems to the growing online gaming market in Asia and these initiatives, which are long-term in nature, will impact significantly to the group’s revenue and will provide for recurring revenue,” the gaming technology provider said.
DFNN is an IT solutions provider and systems integrator to help companies integrate technology processes into their businesses.
