Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey believes Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao will emerge as winner in his fight against US undefeated champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Pacquiao is set to battle it out in the ring with Mayweather Jr on May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden, in what is considered as the fight of the century.
Rousey said Mayweather will find it hard to defeat Pacquiao, who is also a Filipino congressman, if Pacquiao will utilize his skills and power.
The UFC Women’s champion said she stands with her prediction because she is also a fighter and she knows how both Pacquiao and Mayweather fight in the ring.
Rousey, though, advised Pacquiao to change his boxing style when inside the ring to give him more advantage against Mayweather.
On Friday, Pacquiao’s training camp admitted that the boxer suffered stiffness in his legs while training.
Meanwhile, Justin Beiber said he will be at Mayweather’s side when the boxer walks to the ring to take on Pacquiao in their welterweight world title super-fight.
“We did have some shin splints when we were running hills and it was a little bit of a problem for a short amount of time and he had an inflammatory cream to take the pain away,” Roach told ABS-CBN News.
